ALETHE is a privacy-first mental health and consciousness tracking platform. Unlike corporate wellness apps, your data stays yoursβ€”encrypted, local-first, never sold.

Getting Started

Setting Up Your Profile

ALETHE works best when you're honest with yourself:

  1. Complete initial baseline assessments
  2. Set tracking preferences (daily check-ins, sleep tracking, etc.)
  3. Choose notification preferences
  4. Review privacy settings

Daily Check-Ins

Brief daily check-ins (60-90 seconds) help ALETHE understand your patterns. You'll answer quick questions about mood, energy, sleep, and notable events.

Tip: Set a consistent time each day. Morning check-ins capture sleep data, evening check-ins reflect on the full day.

Mental Health Tracking

Understanding Your Patterns

ALETHE analyzes your check-ins to identify patterns. You might notice:

  • Mood fluctuations tied to specific days or events
  • Anxiety spikes correlated with sleep quality
  • Energy levels affected by exercise or social interaction
  • Seasonal patterns (SAD, winter blues)

ALETHE includes validated clinical assessments:

PSS - Perceived Stress Scale

Custom - Build your own tracking metrics

Take assessments weekly or monthly to track trends. ALETHE will alert you to significant changes that might warrant professional consultation.

Remember: These are screening tools, not diagnoses. Always consult a mental health professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Sleep Optimization

Sleep Tracking

Track sleep manually or integrate with wearables:

  • Sleep duration (time in bed vs actual sleep)
  • Sleep quality (subjective rating)
  • Factors affecting sleep (caffeine, exercise, stress, screens)
  • Wake-up feeling (refreshed vs groggy)

For experiences that require integration (especially altered states), ALETHE provides guided journaling prompts and tracking to help you process and learn from these experiences.

Data & Privacy

How Your Data is Stored

Privacy Architecture

  • Local First: Check-in data stored on your device when possible
  • Encrypted: All cloud data encrypted end-to-end
  • Not Sold: Your mental health data is never sold or used for ads
  • Minimal Retention: We keep only what's necessary for patterns

Exporting Your Data

Export everything at any time:

  • CSV format for analysis in Excel/Sheets
  • JSON format for programmatic access
  • PDF reports for sharing with therapists

Deleting Your Data

Delete your account and all data from Settings. Deletion is permanent and happens within 30 days.

Integrations

Wearables & Apps

ALETHE can integrate with (all optional):

  • Apple Health (sleep, activity, heart rate)
  • Google Fit (Android users)
  • Oura Ring (sleep, readiness, HRV)
  • Whoop (strain, recovery, sleep)
Note: Integrations are one-way. ALETHE imports data but doesn't export your mental health data to third-party apps.

Sharing Data with Your Provider

ALETHE can generate reports for your therapist:

You control exactly what's shared. Generate a PDF report and share it directly with your provider.
